The DoorBird I/O Door Controller A1081

The DoorBird I/O Door Controller A1081 allows you to securely control up to three doors or gates over the network. In most cases, due to structural reasons, electric door openers are connected directly to the door station via two wires. Unauthorized removal of the door station and intentional short-circuiting of the wires can activate the electric door opener, granting unauthorized individuals access to the property or building. The DoorBird I/O Door Controller demonstrably provides a remedy here, as it is installed in a protected interior area, such as in a control cabinet in the basement, and connected to the DoorBird IP Video Door Station via the network. The connection to the network can be done via network cable (PoE) or via Wi-Fi. All signals between the door station and the I/O Door Controller are transmitted securely and encrypted according to banking standards. Up to three electric door openers can be connected to the I/O Door Controller via wiring that is not accessible from the outside. Manipulation, e.g., by short circuit or an external voltage source, is therefore excluded. An I/O Door Controller is often referred to as a "remote security relay" in the door intercom system field. However, in addition to the tamper-proof remote control of doors and gates, the DoorBird I/O Door Controller can do much more: It displays the switching status of the relay (e.g., open or closed), and up to two external sensors such as motion detectors, vibration sensors, or contact switches can be connected and evaluated, including worldwide alarm notification via push notification on smartphones and tablets. Any number of DoorBird I/O Door Controllers can be connected to a DoorBird IP Video Door Station in a network. All doors and gates activated in the I/O Door Controller are available in the DoorBird App with a click, so that residents worldwide can conveniently open doors and gates via smartphone or via event configuration (e.g., RFID or keypad code).
