The locks are weather-protected underneath the mail slots, which also keeps the simple, elegant design uninterrupted. Mail is inserted from the top and retrieved from the front via the front flap and a top-mounted mail slot. The "Manhattan Special for Two" mailbox system is a free-standing double mailbox for ground mounting.
