The lock is weather-protected beneath the mail slot, maintaining the sleek, elegant design. Mail is deposited from the top and retrieved from the front via the front flap and top-mounted mail slot. The "Manhattan" mailbox is a freestanding, individual mailbox for ground mounting. The newspaper roll is open on both sides.
